2007 General Plan Update for the Town of Mammoth Lakes -- has been adopted!

Now, Neighborhood District Plans will go forward. Already in process are North Old Mammoth Road (including Clearwater) and North Village Specific Plan (including Mammoth Crossings), Shady Rest /Hidden Creek Crossing and Snowcreek VIII. Check back for details. Town Council is currently deliberating on the North Old Mammoth Road District Study.

Overbuilding Threatens Town Finances -- Analysis shows that the Town is overbuilt and will go into the red if many more vacant housing units are built without sales and Transient Occupancy Tax income to support them. Read our Position Paper and detailed analysis.

Mammoth Yosemite Airport -- The Town is issuing monthly updates from the Airport Project Team. Projected time frame for regional jet service is December 2008. Contact Robin Picken to receive the emails.
