The purposes of the Advocates for Mammoth are:

• to promote responsible community planning in the Town of Mammoth Lakes and its surroundings;
• to inform the public of the implications of developments and encourage participation in the planning process;
• to insist on compliance with established town plans and zoning ordinances; to seek compliance with laws; and
• to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.

The Advocates for Mammoth Board Members are:

John Walter -- Chair

Shalle Genevieve -- Treasurer

Mary Ann Dunigan -- Secretary

Julie Yost

Further, an Advisory Board and committees for specific tasks will be established.

At present, Advocates for Mammoth is meeting on a weekly basis. Further, members are attending Town Council, Planning Commission, and other public meetings on a variety of issues. These meetings are noted on our Current Issues page.
